Maria Zeqo

Maria has been part of Salem Five since September 2019 and brings nearly 20 years of financial services experience to businesses throughout the region. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Finance and Accounting and recently completed a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Prior to joining Salem Five, she spent more than a decade managing retail teams at several area banking institutions.

Maria has a rich history, having emigrated from Albania, and speaks multiple languages—including Albanian, Spanish, Greek, and English—which allows her to connect with a broader clientele and build strong, lasting customer relationships. She has a positive outlook on life and work and truly loves what she does. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Maria has also completed programs through the Massachusetts Bankers Association’s New England School for Financial Studies (NESFS) and the Commercial Lending Credit Analysis Apprenticeship Program.

Outside of work, Maria is a proud mother of two and enjoys spending as much time with them as possible, including playing volleyball together. Her hidden passions include interior design and fashion, and she loves spending time outdoors whenever she can.
