Asset Based Lending Loan & Collateral Analyst
Ruphael Getahun is a Loan & Collateral Analyst on the Business Credit Team at Salem Five, supporting asset-based lending relationships through monitoring collateral, analyzing financials, and evaluating borrowing base availability. He is interested in helping businesses navigate financial challenges by providing flexible financing solutions that support their working capital needs and long-term goals.
Ruphael earned his bachelor’s degree from Tufts University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Computer Science. His background includes experience in corporate and investment banking, as well as customer-facing roles across Salem Five, giving him a broad perspective on business financing and client relationships.
Ruphael lives in Watertown and grew up in Cambridge. He is actively involved in the Orthodox Church and Ethiopian communities, serving as a teacher and participating in local volunteer efforts.
Outside of work, Ruphael enjoys reading about history and theology, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
