Sue Howley is a Regional Manager for the retail banking team at Salem Five, where she oversees and supports branch operations and community engagement across the communities the bank serves. With almost 25 years at Salem Five, Sue has built a career rooted in customer relationships, team development, and local impact.

Sue spent eight years as Branch Manager in Swampscott and Marblehead and five years as Branch Manager in Salem, where she led high-performing teams and strengthened the bank’s connections within the community. In her current role, she partners with branch leaders to foster growth, champion exceptional customer service, and guide community outreach efforts in each market.

A passionate advocate for organizations that support women and girls, Sue has been a decades-long supporter of the Women’s Fund of Essex County and Girls Inc. of Lynn and Boston. She also supports the work of Dignity Matters and currently serves on the board of the Lowell Plan, helping advance initiatives that strengthen the region’s economic vitality.

Outside of work, Sue enjoys planning trips and exploring new destinations, always seeking out new experiences and cultures along the way.
