Terms and Conditions for Debit Card Round Up Service

Debit Card Round Up is an easy way to build your savings with every debit card purchase.
To enroll, call us at (800) 850‑5000 or visit a Salem Five branch location.

The following terms and conditions apply if you enroll:
 

Debit Card Round Up Service Terms and Conditions

If you enroll in the Debit Card Round Up service, Salem Five will round up each debit card purchase made by you or any joint owner of your checking account to the next whole dollar. The difference will be transferred to your designated savings or money market account.

Round-up amounts from purchases posted to your checking account are aggregated each business day and transferred as a single “Round-Up Transfer” at the end of that day. Round-ups apply only to debit card or POS transactions. ATM, ACH, cash, and bill payments are excluded. If your checking account does not have sufficient available funds at the end of any business day, no round-up transfers will occur. The designated savings or money market account must be active with a positive balance.

If a debit card purchase is later disputed, canceled, or reversed, the corresponding round-up transfer will remain in your savings or money market account.

You may change or cancel your enrollment at any time by visiting a branch or calling (800) 850‑5000. Salem Five may modify or terminate this service at its discretion.

To enroll and participate, you must maintain ownership of both the checking account associated with the debit card(s) and the savings or money market account used for transfers. Debit Card Round Up is available only for consumer accounts.
